...Good Ole Fashioned BLOGGING. I felt the need to take a break for the poetry and share this. POSTING YOUR INNERMOST FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS IS KINDA SCARY!!! lOl I mean ULTIMATELY you realize that its not so much for anyones approval, but lets be honest, who likes to feel "exposed"? Its almost as if you're waiting for the REALLY TALENTED ppl to descend from their lofty mountain top and say to you, "Don't Quit Your Day Job Kid!!!!" And yeah yeah yeah MONSTROUS EGO and all are vanquished like the Titans of old by the flash of the mighty thunderbolts. So why do it? *shrugging shoulders* You're asking the wrong guy! So who else could you POSSIBLY ask? How about YOU? Why do YOU ever lay your feelings on the line. Why bother to feel at all if you're not going to share them. And if the person you're sharing them with can't appreciate that this is You or Me at this very moment than why are we waisting our time with them, they are self serving and You are more or less a busboy (or girl) constantly cleaning up someone else's MESS!! And at times these vindictive, mean spirited ppl we "love" so much leave filth ON PURPOSE just for You to clean up. And that's not fair (but what is? right? Ma'at IS, but that's a WHOLE OTHER BLOG lOl)

I was raised to appreciate CLASSIC STYLE! I'm constantly searching for ways to be TIMELESS! Forget FADS and TRENDY SLANGS! Give me what passes the tests of time. I don't care who you are in what time you're in, when you hear Marvin Gaye sing, Mercy, Mercy Me CHILLS run up your spine. When you gaze upon the Horemakhet (Heru on the Horizon OR The Great Sphinx), you are left in AWE at the power of a work that has stood the tests of time. And these feats were accomplished by not setting out to create the next work of art, but by the artist pouring out her/his soul. In order to create Greatness, we must become Great Ourselves. We must find the Divine within us, and let it out. We waist our lives searching outside of us for what was right here all along.
